About Us
TVA works in education - designing and delivering innovative programmes for students of all abilities, for disengaged learners, and for excluded or at risk pupils. TVA also promotes environmental and science curriculum learning in unexpected and enjoyable ways.
TVA works in diversity and inclusion - using the arts to support and empower people who face life’s challenges.
TVA works to bring people together in respect and celebration.
TVA works to support artists, creatives and makers and contributes to the development and growth of our local creative industries.
TVA is very grateful for the support of all its partners and funders.
TVA projects are funded by various different organisations, charities and agencies; without this support the projects would not happen. We try to acknowledge project partners wherever possible, and further details can be made available on request. Thanks go to all our supporters.
TVA projects vary hugely in scale; the shortest may last for just one day, and the biggest programme of activity may last for two or three years.
TVA has many years experience of managing and delivering high quality creative projects in the North East of England, since it was established as Cleveland Arts in 1982.
TVA is a registered charity; any surplus we make goes back into the business to support the development of more creative opportunities for people in the Tees Valley.
TVA can work with you to plan a programme of creative activities, work up a budget, write funding applications, find suitable artists, and then manage the project, both artistically and administratively. If you have an idea that you would like to discuss, please contact us.
In 2011/12 TVA delivered approximately 10,000 creative participant sessions in the Tees Valley.
Tees Valley Arts is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.
