Train in-house as an Arts Award adviser with Tees Valley Arts
In-house training is a cost-effective approach for schools and organisations that need to train six or more people. It offers you focused training for your particular setting & focus, within your own venue. If you don’t have six people from within your organisation, you could share an in-house training day with e.g. your partner schools or across a youth service or arts officers.
What advisers have said:
"In-house training allowed us to reach a large number of our arts teachers all at once. This has made it easier for us to monitor the development of Arts Award in the schools involved and create a working party of all the participating teachers." Stephen Alty, Advisory Teacher for Drama/Dance,
"A really effective and enjoyable way of sharing training amongst a group of professionals from the same specialist sector." Peter Leigh, Sound Connections,
You will need to provide a venue, a minimum of 6 and maximum of 15 trainees, lunch and refreshments and someone to co-ordinate the details of the day.
You pay a fee of £63 (Bronze/ Silver) per person for a minimum of 6 people, as well as paying Tees Valley Arts directly (£350 plus expenses Bronze/ Silver)
