Digital Animator and a Writer Sought

Stockton Riverside College

Tees Valley Arts is working in partnership with Stockton Riverside College and Morelife Weight Management Services, to create a short animation addressing (lightly and humorously) the range of body types that are healthy, and to counteract some of the media manipulation of ‘iconic’ bodies, for both males and females.

The animator will deliver 10 sessions in Stockton Riverside College, beginning on Tuesday 1st November 2016 and finishing those sessions on Tuesday 17th January 2017, all sessions are from 15:30 to 17:00. The writer will deliver 6 sessions, the first 4 alongside the animator, beginning 1st November 2016, and the further two to be mutually agreed as most needed during the schedule.

A draft viewing of the animation will be held at Stockton Riverside College during February 2017, with the final provision of the film during the March/April 2017 with a celebration event to shortly thereafter.

Duration: 1st November 2016 – 17th January 2017 – NB: Please see brief for timetable.
