Carolyn Johnson and another local artist Andy Mckeown, undertook a series of community workshops with 4 schools in Coulby Newham to design the following for the refurbished centre:
- A series of banners for the pool area
- A pool frieze/divider to separate the large and small pools
- A mobile
- Mosaics for the entrance to the Centre
- Archways leading into the Centre
