Two, one-day events presented by tva celebrating the impact of the arts across the Tees Valley.

creativeChange, Thursday 6th October

A day to focus on the younger generation:

For 16-19 year olds: Dispelling the myths
1.30-7.00pm: FREE advice and workshops on careers in the creative industries.

For teachers: INSET training
9.30am-4.00pm: workshops designed for the professional development of teachers examining the links across arts and science.

For Everyone: Creative Education Fair
4.00pm-6.30pm: Meet with a variety of agencies which develop and manage creative education projects in the Tees Valley.

creativeChange, Friday 14th October, 9.30am-5pm + FREE evening events

Designed specifically for professionals across the north east working in the fields of social inclusion. A day exploring the role of the arts in regeneration and the impact of arts-based social enterprises on our local communities. Featuring workshops, films, exhibitions and 3 panel discussions: The Business of the Disabled Artist; Talking about our Regeneration; A Little Word in Your Ear (discussion around the arts and mental health, led by Phoenix Visual Arts)
