People may have seen the work produced by Phoenix Art Group at various exhibitions held in Middlesbrough and Stockton. The group currently has exhibitions at Sam’s Place Café, Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough and in the display windows of The Mall Shopping Centre, Middlesbrough. Phoenix Co-ordinator and artist Adrian Moule is now offering art classes on Saturdays at St Mary’s Centre, Major Street, Stockton on Tees.
Adrian says “there will be formal workshops based on the needs of the participants mixed with experimentation and group work. I want to create a drawing group that will engage with developing, exhibiting and sharing ideas. As the group grows I will introduce workshops with other professional artists to broaden the range of influences.”
The classes will start from Saturday 21st January, 9am through to 4pm and will be flexible to the individual on a drop in basis. Attendance at the classes costs £5.00 for three hours or £7.50 per day. Participants need to bring their own materials or can be purchased from Phoenix Art Group.
