TVA seeks a part-time Office Co-ordinator

TVA is seeking an individual who can provide short term Office Co-ordinator services to support the small core team of staff, for a contracted term of 5 months.

Fee: £4000.00 in total, based on 18 weeks x 20 hours per week

Duration: 03.12.13 – 02.05.14

(Subject to negotiation) the contract for this service will begin 03.12.13 working approximately 20 hours per week or such hours that are required to fulfil the contract, up until Friday May 2nd 2014; TVA works Tuesdays to Fridays, so the necessary hours can be worked over three or four days, actual times to be agreed with the TVA Director prior to issue of contract. There will be a two week break for Christmas/ New Year, during which time the service will not be required, and it may be possible for the contracted person to negotiate a further two weeks of non-delivery of service during the term of the contract – to be agreed with the TVA Director.

Brief

The OC will report to the TVA Director and Board, and will be responsible for managing TVA’s financial transactions including wages, accounts, project budgets, and year end figures, and for managing TVA’s HR administration; additionally, the OC will support the TVA Director in managing TVA’s internal and external communications, including liaison with eg IT and design consultants. Attached is a description of the nature of the services required.

The person awarded the contract will be responsible for their own taxes and National Insurance and will be required to produce evidence of their self employed status.
