Wiszniewski’s work also has a conceptual basis, with such post-modern artists as Bruce McLean and Gilbert & George acting as a great influence. Wiszniewski is considered a leading figure in Scottish painting, and his work can be found in major public collections including M.O.M.A. New York, Tate, London, National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh and Setagaya, Tokyo. He currently lives and works in Renfrewshire, Scotland.
