Startwrite

Buzzwords organised a diverse programme of free creative writing sessions throughout the Summer of 1998, aimed at grass roots writing, fledgling poets and those who were keen to explore story-making.

We’re working in partnership with lots of organisations across Teesside, and hope to reach untapped audiences and secret scribblers who want to share their writing and gain some confidence with their work.

said Buzzwords Worker Bob Beagrie.

The range of Startwrite sessions were designed to draw new writers together for mutual support, help them develop writer’s skills and introduce them to other outlets, writing events and activities that go on in our area.

The Summer Programme included:

In Sickness & In Health
