WorldFest Youth Event

Saturday 24th May, Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt, 1-3pm

An exciting showcase of young performers, dancers, artists and musicians from diverse backgrounds from across the Tees Valley is taking place on Saturday 24th May at Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt from 1–3 pm. Performers taking part include:-

  • Grandma’s House – local indie favourites
  • Drums n Voice – a percussion and voice piece, courtesy of students of Nunthorpe School who have been working with musicians Derek Smith and Maurice Dezou
  • The Hotsteppers – scorching dance from Zimbabwe
  • Heroes Fall First – heroic pop rock
  • DME – all original R’n’B
  • DJPB and XTN – special guest DJs
