Filmmaker/Photographer Wanted for Walk to School Project

Tees Valley Arts are looking for a Filmmaker/Photographer to document a Walk to School Project that we are running in partnership with the One Planet Middlesbrough project, funded by The Big Lottery in association with Middlesbrough Environment City, across 5 Middlesbrough Schools.

Each school will have worked with a Creative Writer to write short pieces around who they would most like to walk to school with and why. The winning pieces will be awarded a walk to school with that very character! We will work with an actor and costume designer to make this character come to life, and encourage all pupils and parents to join in the walks. Each walk will take place across the mornings of the week of 18th May.

We would like to work with a Filmmaker/Photographer who can use both mediums to document each walk and conduct short interviews with parents/staff/pupils about the project and walking to school. You will provide Tees Valley Arts with all raw footage and photographs, including a small selection and short edit of footage taken.

Duration: 18th May 2015 – 26th May 2015 – (Dates to be agreed on appointment of contract.)

Fee: You will be paid a fee of £2000 to produce this short film. (Incl. use of equipment)
