Graeme Robinson is a musician, producer and composer based in the Tees Valley. His project Locomotive Rhythm celebrates the railway heritage of north east England through music, storytelling and the use of unique foundry cast percussion instruments.
The Heritage on Track commission enabled Graeme’s Locomotive Rhythm project to support six further local artists. Phoebe Emmerson, Philip Swinburne, Chris Rutherford, Gavin Bell, Kevin Eland and Philip Taylor worked in collaboration with Graeme on recorded music and live performance pieces, including 10 storytelling sessions.
With a studio in Darlington, Graeme’s has earned numerous Official BPI and Brit Certified Awards for his music recordings.
